Nissan brand vehicles as one of the most rapidly growing in China back to take aggressive steps to continue its expansion in the most populous country in the world.
Japanese car manufacturer is planning further investments valued at USD784 million, or about Rp.7 trillion in the construction of a factory in the city of Dalian, Northeast China.
Through this sixth plant, Nissan additional set production capacity of 150,000 units in 2014. Not only that, it was possible the number could grow to 300,000 units.
"Nissan has been the focus of southern China and eastward expansion of the ocean are needed to accommodate growth," said Nissan Executive Vice President, Hiroto Saikawa, told local reporters.
In China, Nissan has sold 425 000 units until this June, an increase of 20% over the same period last year. As for the total sales during 2011, Nissan managed to remove the 1.3 million units into the hands of the state consumer
